Producers of the Hollywood movie 'The Interview' recently released a statement in regards to the past controversy where they were accused of using Yoon Mi Rae's track, "Pay Day," without proper authorization.
Sony Pictures revealed to Yonhap News on May 13, "We admit the fact that we used Yoon Mi Rae's song 'Pay Day' before signing a formal licensing authorization agreement. We would like to emphasize that using this track in the film does not mean Yoon Mi Rae, Tiger JK, and Feel Ghood Music agree with the content of our film."
Reps from Sony Pictures also revealed that both parties have resolved the issue amicably and asked that the issue be put to bed. Sony Pictures remained silent when it came to what the settlement was between the two parties.
Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Feel Ghood Music was taking legal action against the movie as well as the third party agent for using Yoon Mi Rae's track.
