Singer WOODZ (Jo Seung Youn) has been added to the official lineup for 'Summer Sonic 2025', taking place from August 16-17 simultaneously in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.
On April 17 JST, 'Summer Sonic 2025' added artists including JVKE, Man With A Mission, BABYMONSTER (Osaka only), BAND-MAID, BMSG POSSE, HYDE, Kuroyume, MAZZEL, SOMBR, TREASURE (Osaka only), and WOODZ through its latest lineup announcement.
In particular, 'Summer Sonic 2025' will mark WOODZ's first performance on an official stage upon his return from South Korea's mandatory military service. The singer is currently carrying out his mandatory duties as a member of the Korea Military Academy Service Support Group and is set to be discharged on July 21.
Meanwhile, last week, YouTuber Lee Jin Ho fueled allegations that WOODZ dated the late actress Kim Sae Ron some time between 2021-2022. In response, his label EDAM Entertainment commented, "We cannot verify matters related to the artist's private life."
'Summer Sonic 2025', featuring K-Pop acts like WOODZ, (G)I-DLE, izna, aespa (Tokyo only), Lee Young Ji, and more, will take place at the Zozo Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, and at the Osaka Expo '70 Stadium in Osaka, from August 16-17.
