Although Big Bang is a super senior idol group at the moment, they still have a vivid memory of their trainee days as revealed on KBS 2TV's 'Happy Together 3' on May 21.  

G-Dragon said, "The five of us slept together on two mattresses in a really tiny room," and Seungri added, "There was even a room with rats."

Taeyang said, "We can eat if the manager scrapes together food, but as he was busy, he was unable to for a couple weeks.  We told him we were so hungry."  T.O.P then added, "There were whole wheat chips that we liked.  For a whole day, we decided on an amount and took out one to eat at a time."

When asked if the company had not watched over their lives, G-Dragon said, "I was a trainee at an early stage.  While I was a trainee, if I was not practicing but sleeping because I was too tired, a text or phone call would come.  These days, they don't say much."

Whoa... at least all that hard work and endurance eventually paid off and the boys are surely treating themselves to a good meal every day!  But that sounds really rough...
