SM Entertainment's latest rookie group Red Velvet is taking the music scene by storm, especially with their latest track "Ice Cream Cake," which has this strangely hypnotic quality that will have fans listening to it over and over and over again... seriously.
The track was released on March 18, but is already seeing success by topping Hanteo's weekly chart from March 16 to March 22! The girls even beat out their SM sunbaes Donghae and Eunhyuk, granted their song has been out longer. Just the same, the sub-unit proudly took the second spot with "The Beat Goes On," followed by new soloist, Minah.

"Ice Cream Cake" has been doing pretty well with other music chart conquers like first place on Bugs' weekly chart from March 16 to March 23 and ranking in top five in other charts, such as genie, Olleh, Daum, Naver, and Soribada. The song also topped Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia's comprehensive album charts on iTunes, five Asian countries' pop album charts, and eight Asian countries' K-Pop album charts.
Good job, girls!
