Actress Hwayoung met up with Star News for an interview recently as her very first movie 'Today's Love' hit theaters earlier this month. During this chat, she brought up her fellow co-star, Lee Seung Gi.
She said that she had to be good or devoted to him, saying, "He made me feel so comfortable. He helped me with almost everything. The director told Lee Seung Gi, 'Seung Gi, Hwayoung is your homework. Don't you feel so sorry for her?' giving him an assignment, so Seung Gi said, 'Ok. I understand,' and he really took on the responsibility, teaching me a lot of things.
At first, it was awkward, but we practiced our script together and he looked at every little thing. I felt so lucky. Thanks to him, I was able to get more immersed in my character. After finishing the remaining filming with so much engagement, I got depressed and sad because there was no more Lee Seung Gi."

She revealed seeing him being considerate toward all the staff members and fellow actors on set left an impression.
"Seung Gi oppa has such good manners," she said. "He treats everyone equally. He approached everyone from the director and fellow actors to the maknae staff members to talk to them and take care of them. That's why he must have so many people around him. I came to think I should learn from him."
