Her husband Oh Seung Geun, younger brother and announcer Kim Tae Wook, and veterans in the entertainment field like Lee Sung Mi, Park Mi Sun, Lee Kyung Shil, Song Eun Yi, Jo Hyung Gi, Kang Boo Ja, Kang Suk Woo, and more paid their respects during the funeral procession held at The Catholic University of Korea's Seoul St. Mary's Hospital on the 19th.

Her husband shared during the Christian funeral service, "[Kim Ja Ok] will be cremated, and I will have to part with my wife... Most of [Kim Jae Ok]'s family was overseas. Despite that, I think I've seen almost all of her family in the past 3 days... I'm really thankful to the choir members who were with my wife [throughout the funeral]. I only feel sorry for not being able to be with her the entire time."
