Steaming, hot Korean-Mexi perfection. If you're in Los Angeles, California you've probably already heard about Kogi Korean BBQ but for everyone else it's a food truck chain that popularized fusing Mexican and Korean cuisine, think taco with a Korean kogi (meat) twist.
The genius behind this creation, Roy Choi (pictured above), is even credited as the guy who kicked off the food truck movement on the west coast. After recently opening up a Vegetable focused restaurant (Commissary), Roy Choi has announced via Twitter that he's continuing to make big Kogi-powered leaps, as he may be hosting his own show on CNN.
I got my own show&it's from the heart on the biggest platform down2the smallest detail. #CNN #StreetFood

This won't be the first time Roy will be on CNN as he was featured on an Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown episode filmed in Los Angeles. Who else is looking forward to the glorious #foodporn and random guests with Roy Choi dropping knowledge? We'll now have both coasts covered with Korean American chef David Chang on the east coast and Roy Choi holding it down in the west.
