Girl's Day recently embarked on their second international volunteer service trip with Plan Korea, an international sponsorship organization for children.
Their agency, DreamT Entertainment, revealed on August 25 that Girl's Day resided in a village in northern Thailand from August 17 to 21 to engage in volunteer services as the honorary ambassadors of Plan Korea.
The four members of Girl's Day met up with young girls who were unable to enroll in school because their births were never officially registered. The idols also visited the girls' families and went through the process of registering the births belatedly. In addition, they held the first birthday party ever for the girls, who never knew when they were born because their births had never been registered.

Girl's Day stated, "This was our second volunteer service in Thailand, so we wanted to help out even more directly. The volunteer work was more meaningful because we were able to use the profits from our concert to directly present the kids with their birth certificates. It was a precious time for us to learn the meaning of 'A life together' more than only 'me' through volunteer work, so we want to actively participate in more meaningful work."
