An MBC�promotional rep told TV Daily on the 13th, "'A New Leaf' will come to an end with 16 episodes on the 26th."

The rep explained that the drama was left with no choice but to be cut short due to the inability for the cast to adjust their schedules after filming was pushed back along with broadcast being suspended for various reasons.

The rep stated, "The May 28th and June 4th broadcast of 'A New Leaf' were suspended due to the relay broadcasting of a soccer match and the election, respectively, delaying the initially scheduled finale one week. However, we have no choice but to finish the filming schedule according to the time frame initially scheduled. The lead actor Kim Myung Min's schedule could not be adjusted for latter filming,�so we have decided to air the finale earlier than expected."

'A New Leaf' will air its finale on the 26th. �
