While K-Pop has a rapper or two in nearly every idol group as well as a slew of talented rappers, hip hop groups, and under artists, it's still hard for Asian-American rappers to break into the mainstream in the United States, which is why this issue is being explored in depth through a feature documentary film called 'Bad Rap.'
The film delineates the hardships that four Asian-American rappers (Dumbfoundead, Awkwafina, Rekstizzy, and Lyricks) go through as they chase their dreams to make it big. Although those four are the focus of the film, there will also be special appearances by Jay Park, Timothy DeLaGhetto (Traphik), Far East Movement, Jin, and many other Asian rappers, all of whom are well known names and want to lend a hand in spreading awareness about the difficulties of Asian Americans making it to the mainstream.

However, their aid may not be enough. The filmmakers need your help in completing the film and they started a campaign on IndieGoGo. They have a goal of raising $25,000 and you can join in by showing your support here for the movie and its important messages.
