SECRET's Hyosung has made her solo debut, and with the timing of her release, she's going against not only G.NA but also T-ara's Jiyeon, who will be coming out with her first solo release soon. She discussed this during the showcase for her mini-album 'TOP SECRET' on May 12 at the Club Vanguard in the Ramada Hotel.

When the press asked her about her feelings on going up against these other two female solo artists, she said, "It would have been difficult to promote as the only female soloist, but I think it'll be fun because we get to do it together . . . I've always been very close with G.NA. And the interesting thing is that G.NA, Jiyeon, and I have the same composer [Duble Sidekick]. I've been told we'd each been given a song that gives off a different feel. I do worry, but I also think it'll be fun. I think we will all come out winners in these promotions."
When asked how she stands out from the other two, Hyosung commented, "G.NA and Jiyeon are thin, but I am not on the thin side and rather have a more healthy image, so I think my performances will come off energetic... In addition, I've only shown my vocals through SECRET, so I think people will be able to see a new, fresh side to vocals that are unique to myself."
