'The Avengers' sequel, 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron' ('Avengers 2'), will film some of its scenes in Gangnam, Seoul starting this February! And to play one of the villains, the movie announced that it was looking for a Korean actress and it's said 40 actresses auditioned for the part, including some top stars. But among them, Marvel Studios ended up choosing Kim Soo Hyun, who some of you may recognize from '7th Grade Civil Servant'.
In addition to being able to speak English well, Kim Soo Hyun has some experience acting out action scenes under her belt with her previous role on 'The Fugitive: Plan B'. The actress, who got her start as a supermodel, is currently under Apple of the Eye, the same agency as Daniel Henney.
'Avengers 2' is set to premiere in theaters in May 2015!

[Update] - It is currently said that Marvel is keeping a tight lip about the casting. The actress's agency have also cautiously revealed that they cannot confirm nor deny. An agency rep commented, "We are at a bit of a loss about what to do as reports have already gone out in the casting stage... We're currently asking Marvel to confirm it for us, and we will soon reveal an official statement on the matter."
