A Cube Entertainment rep told Newsen on the 17th, "Junhyung was issued a subpoena notice and thus attended the investigation... Since the police is in the middle of investigation, it is too early to reveal the specifics of the case. We will reveal the results as soon as they come out."
Another rep told Star News, "Junhyung was summoned as the defendant and he has finished his investigation... There was no change in his statement that he did not lie during his testimony."
As mentioned before, Junhyung's former CEO Mr. Kim filed a suit against KBS for an episode of 'Win Win' in 2012, which Mr. Kim pointed out reflected him in a negative light and that Junhyung had fabricated stories about him during his appearance on the episode.
Junghyung had said on the show back then, "I had a 10-year slave contract but my agency didn't keep any of their promises so I expressed that I want to leave... The CEO who heard my words called me over to a bar. The CEO was very drunk and broke a bottle before me, and said to me, 'Do you want to stay with me or not.'"
In the initial proceedings, the court ruled that KBS could not prove that the CEO had actually done those things, while also simultaneously ruling that the CEO could not prove that he hadn't done those thing. Thus it ordered KBS to mention that their episode aired may not have been true. However, both sides were unhappy with the results and both filed appeals. During this process, the CEO also decided to file against Junhyung, accusing him of lying while testifying during the initial trials, resulting in the investigation session the idol attended today (17th KST).
