A Ministry of Defense representative talked with media outlet Kuki News over a phone call and revealed, "The investigation was completed this past weekend... The individuals who are subject to punishment have been decided on and we also plan to announce the level of disciplinary measures that will be issued." When asked for more information on the number of individuals who will receive punishment, the rep stated, "You will have to wait for the official briefing."
The rep added, "It's not only the disciplinary measures that are important, but also the follow-up measures, so it's taking some time to prepare."
With criticisms pouring in from citizens, the Ministry of Defense previously revealed that they will also be looking into seeing if the latest issues reflect the atmosphere of celebrity recruits as a whole or just a few individuals, and revealed that they are possibly open to getting rid of the celebrity recruit department. So it remains to be seen whether any drastic measures will be announced this week as well.
Stay tuned for the Ministry of Defense's conclusion on this pressing issue.
