CNBLUE's Jungshin admitted that he coveted the role of 'Colin' taken on by fellow band member Jonghyun on SBS 'Gentlemen's Class'.
Jungshin was present at the 'My Daughter Seoyoung' (changed from earlier title, 'My Daughter Soyoung') press conference that was held at the Palace Hotel in Seoul September 11th, and it was here that the bassist remarked, "Other than the 'Sungjae' role I have taken on this time, I was covetous of the 'Colin' role."
"Not only did I feel that way because I was a fan of 'Gentlemen's Class', I was first and foremost jealous that he played Jang Dong Gun's son," he said. "But I love Sungjae the most," he added afterwards, bringing laughter.
Jungshin, who will be taking on his very first official acting role, added, "I'm very nervous but I'm also looking forward to it very much. Thankfully, my seniors are very understanding so I am adjusting pretty well."
"The members are also very helpful," he added. "Minhyuk who was on 'You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly' taught me a lot about camera placement, and Yonghwa hyung helped me with my lines."
Meanwhile, 'My Daughter Seoyoung' tells the story of a daughter who is bitter about being born to an incapable father, and severs her ties with him. However, despite being deeply hurt, her father still desires to be the best dad for his child.
'My Daughter Seoyoung' airs its pilot episode on the 15th.
