Big Bang has taken first place on the half-year chart of one of Japan's biggest digital music sites, 'Dwango'.

'Dwango' recently released their list of top charting songs for the first half of 2012, and revealed that Big Bang came out on top in the K-Pop category with their latest hit track, "Fantastic Baby", a song off of their 'Alive' album.

This isn't the only piece of news that demonstrates Big Bang's soaring popularity in Japan, as the boys also recently sold out their Japanese tour to a 250,000 audience�members, while member Seungri is scheduled for a variety of programs in Japan starting this September.

Big Bang will be continuing their world tour on July 21st in China so they're looking ahead to a busy second half of the year.
