On the June 29th episode of Mnet's 'Show Me the Money', 21 amateur rappers who passed the auditions for the second preliminaries were teamed up with the show's veteran cast of rappers.
MC Sniper, who's best known for his poetic lyrics, was forced to choose between 19 year old rookie prodigy Song Seung Min and Kwon Hyuk Woo. In the end, he chose Kwon Hyun Wook, expressing, "I felt so mad. I already felt so close to both of them but I'm forced to choose only one."
Kwon Hyuk Wook and MC Sniper headed up to the stage to cover MC Sniper's past hit, "Gloomy Sunday", with a special piano performance by Yiruma. Their emotional rapping was enough to captivate the viewers and audience, and the team eventually came away with $1,051 USD in total points.
A total of three teams performed on the second episode, so check them out below!
