Girl's Day's maknae Hyeri (18) will be kicking off her acting career.
According to her agency Dream Tea Entertainment, Hyeri has taken the role of the youngest, mature daughter, Jang Mi Hyun, in SBS's new drama 'Father and Daughter' which is scheduled to air its first episode on April 21st.
'Father and Daughter' is a story about four daughters who fall in love, marry, and go through the ups and downs of life. As the daughters of a wealthy father who works at a restaurant, the girls get involved with ill-fated people whom the father met during his detective years. Cast members include Im Chae Moo, Yoon Jung Hee, Yoo Da In, Park Yoon Jae, and more.
Although Hyeri's character will be a young high-schooler, she will be the closest to the father and side with him the most among the other sisters.
A representative of the drama revealed, "Although this is Hyeri's first time acting, we saw high potential in her and therefore decided to cast her. We believe that her cute and adorable looks will fit the character best."
