According to OSEN's report on April 10, Choi Hyun Wook has been cast in the drama 'Hypnosis (Korean title: Hyeonhok)' alongside Suzy and Kim Seon Ho.
'Hypnosis' is a fantasy mystery period drama based on a popular webtoon of the same name, which was serialized from 2019 to 2020. Set during the Japanese colonial era, the story revolves around a mysterious and alluring female vampire and a little-known painter who is commissioned to paint her portrait. It was previously revealed that Suzy will play the enigmatic woman while Kim Seon Ho will take on the role of the obscure artist.
Director Han Jae Rim, known for films like 'The Face Reader,' 'The King,' and 'Emergency Declaration,' will be at the helm. Following his work on Netflix’s 'The 8 Show' last year, this marks another foray into drama direction.

Choi Hyun Wook is reportedly cast in a major role. Known for his strong acting and on-screen presence across various genres, anticipation is high for what he will bring to this new project.
Most recently, Choi Hyun Wook captured hearts as the romantic comedy lead in tvN’s 'My Dearest Nemesis,' which ended on March 24. He starred opposite Moon Ga Young in a charming older woman-younger man romance that painted the screen pink and proved to be a hit.
Choi Hyun Wook made his debut in 2019 with the web drama 'Real:Time:Love,' and has since appeared in SBS’s 'Taxi Driver,' 'Racket Boys,' tvN’s 'Twenty-Five Twenty-One,' Wavve’s 'Weak Hero Class 1,' 'Twinkling Watermelon,' and Netflix’s 'D.P. Season 2.'
