Singer Lee Hyori thanked TV personality Harisu for stepping up to assist abandoned animals.

On January 12th, Hyori tweeted Harisu, "Unni! It's Hyori. It's been awhile ^^."

She continued, "I heard that you went to volunteer at the shelter... And that you even donated dog food. It's a really poor area, so they need a lot of food for the dogs, and there aren't a lot of volunteers that go there regularly. Hearing that you went and offered your time and effort makes me feel really good. Next time, let's go together unni~^^."

Harisu recently visited an animal shelter in Kyunggi-do with her family to do some volunteer work and donated food for the dogs. She had revealed this via her personal blog, and wrote that she was determined to do as much as she could to help protect abandoned animals.

Responding to Hyori's tweet, Harisu wrote back, "Hyori, it's been awhile ^^ Good to talk to you~ How is everything going? You look prettier than ever ^^ heh I never really use my Twitter. I think this is the first time in months I'm writing something after I made an account! Let's go together next time. I had gone with your friend Gun this time~ Still very lovely! It's cold out these days, so take care of yourself~^^"
