KBS 2TV's new medical drama series, "Brain", kicked off with a solid start this week, according to official TV viewership ratings. On November 15th, AGB Nielson Media Research revealed that "Brain" managed to garner a stable viewer rating of 8.6% and 9.5% for its first two episodes, respectively -- both of which aired on Monday. Although "Brain" came in last place compared to other shows in the same time slot, it's steady rise in ratings shows signs of potential. For those of you who would like to get into the drama, "Brain" is a medical series that takes place in the #1 neurosurgery hospital in Korea. It unravels a string of conflicts between the nation's top two neurosurgeons: the cold-hearted, audacious full-time attendee Dr. Lee Kang Hoon (Shin Ha Kyun), and the more humane professor of neurosurgery, Dr. Kim Sang Chul (Jung Jin Young). Meanwhile, SBS's "A Thousand Days' Promise" and MBC's "Gyebaek" received TV viewer ratings of 16.2% and 11.8%, respectively. Source: Star News via Naver
