Core Contents Media has announced a member change in one of its groups, Co-Ed. To start, representatives revealed that 'Superstar K3's Shin Jong Gook will be joining the group as its newest member. The agency revealed that they decided to add Shin Jong Gook into the 11-member group, Co-Ed, after seeing his potential. He will be making his official debut with the other members of Co-Ed's male unit in March. This 6-member unit will be comprised of Jong Gook, Kwang Heng, Yoosung, Taewoon, Noori, and Sungmin. The CEO of Core Contents Media stated, "With the success of Co-Ed's female sub-unit '5dolls' (Soomi, Hyoyoung, Chanmi, Eun Gyo, and Hyewon), we've decided to launch the male unit this time. We are planning to showcase Co-Ed's male unit next March, and Shin Jong Gook will also be making his mark in the music industry through this unit as well."
He also praised the newest member of Co-Ed with, "Shin Jong Gook is a guy with amazing vocal ability."
Sadly, the announcement of a new member was conjoined with the statement that Kangho, one of the original members of the male unit, would be leaving the group. Core Contents Media explained that Kangho decided to leave in order to focus on acting. Source + Photo: Star News [Thanks to everyone that sent this in!]
