With her explosive stage presence and professional mannerisms, 12-year-old Juri Osakaya of Japan performed a memorable cover of 2NE1's "I'm The Best." Despite her small frame, the tiny dancer wowed special guest judge KARA at the 'Cover Dance Festival K-POP Roadshow.' Juri is from a small beach town and randomly stumbled upon 2NE1's music not too long ago. After diligently practicing on her own, watching and re-watching the group's performances, Juri was one out of the 22 finalists picked to perform from over 1,000 total entries. She made an even stronger impression when she said, "My dream is to become a singer in Korea. If I could just become even a trainee I wouldn't have a problem living apart from my parents." In contrast to the power she shows on stage, Juri is a calm and quiet girl when at school and thus shocked friends and schoolmates with her dancing skills. All performances at the show were held in front of KARA and over 3,000 viewers. Performers included a nine-year-old girl, a mother of three, and a 42-year-old businessman - the eclectic group covered songs ranging from UV's "Itaewon Freedom," Park Hyun Bin's "Shabang Shabang," and many other songs that are not actually popular in Japan. Park Gyuri of KARA commented, "Watching these dance cover teams was really inspiring. After seeing their hard work I felt that I need to work even harder myself." Check out her dancing on the MBC News segment below: Show segment begins around 10:10: Source & Photo: Newsen
