On August 10th, Starship Entertainment revealed that they changed up SISTAR's 'tail dance' from their "So Cool" choreography to avoid any further 'sexually suggestive' controversies. Representatives revealed, "In an effort to avoid the controversies popping up in the industry, we've decided to change one of the main aspects of SISTAR's 'So Cool' choreography: their 'tail dance'." The 'tail dance' was created by choreography team DQ and many were excited to see the boom that it would create in succession of the 'butt dance' from "How Dare You" and the sexy waves from "Ma Boy". However, with the slew of bans that songs have been met with lately, like HyunA's choreography, TVXQ's "Before U Go", and Homme's "Still Eating Well", representatives felt that SISTAR's dance would be put up on the chopping block if they did not change it. Representatives continued, "In order to prevent any obstacles from standing in the way of the girls' return, we decided to change their choreography. Fans will be able to see the changes on music programs." Netizens were upset by announcement, as they commented, "All I remember is the tail dance" and "Just because they shake their butt, it's sexually suggestive?". Source + Photos: BNT News
