Jay Park greets fans with a video interview

Posted by VITALSIGN42 pts Wednesday, April 27, 2011

Having made his return today with his new mini-album, "Take A Deeper Look", Jay Park took the time to personally greet his fans with a video message through his official homepage. The singer first introduced his album by stating, "The album's title is meant to ask listeners to take a deeper look because what shows on the outside isn't all there is to something. " He continued, "My title track, 'Abandoned', starts off kind of slow but really picks up during the chorus. It's an expression of the slump men go through once they're abandoned by a woman they love. It's also quite long, since it lasts four minutes and 30 seconds. I had to dance without rest from start to finish for the music video." "There's a scene where I stare at Park Mi So without saying anything. Although it only lasts for seconds long in the music video, it actually took about five minutes of staring and silence to complete. It was really awkward. I wasn't the one that decided the love scene, but it wasn't so bad." Commenting on his comeback, Jay stated, "It's my first time being back after such a long time, so it feels great. It's an album that I personally wrote and composed and worked with my friends on, so the meaning is doubled for me. I'm glad to be able to stand before everyone with music that I love." Jay Park will be making his comeback through KBS's "Music Bank" on May 6th! Source: Economic News via Nate Tip: AtomicPopcorn
