It's official: Shinhwa's lead vocalist Shin Hye Sung will be holding a solo concert titled "Close to You" this December in his homeland for the first time since his "Shin Hye Sung Keep Leaves" tour in May 2009. Since that tour, the singer has been busy with concerts in Japan and other activities, so this long-awaited performance has been stirring a reaction amongst fans back in Korea. According to a press release from The J Story today, these two concerts will take place on December 4 & 5 at AX-Korea in Seoul. In the spirit of the theme of being "Close to You," Shin Hye Sung ultimately chose this relatively smaller venue to be close to his fans and bring forth a more interactive and warm performance. Furthermore, AX-Korea was also the location for Shin's first solo fan meeting back in 2008, so it bears a special meaning to him. Shin Hye Sung will be taking the stage with an acoustic band, string ensemble as well as a handful of new tracks from his album set to be released later this month. "I've been thinking about performing for my Korean fans for a while and it makes me nervous," Shin reportedly confessed. "I'll work hard to present a good show for them." Source: OSEN
