Maybe it's the confidence from his recent marriage or the comforts of filming with one of his best friends (Kim Won Joon), but the usually quiet and calm Ryu Si Won had a lot to say during his recent guest appearance on variety show Come to Play. On this day, Ryu Si Won talked about his activities in both Japan and Korea. When asked by MC Kim won Hee, "What is your name in Japan?" the actor slightly hesitated in thought and then responded "I'm just 'prince,'" causing everyone to be surprised at his confidence. The rest of the show's guests cringed and expressed a bit of distaste in a joking manner at Ryu Si Won's shameless act of claiming himself as prince. As the actor continued to show his confidence, the guests eventually let up and laughed at his overconfidence. Additionally, Ryu Si Won also chose his smiling eyes and lips as a charming charismatic point. He commented, "People compliment me on my drooping eyes when I smile." When talent Kim Na Young complimented him by stating, "I think Ryu Si Won's lip color looks good as well," the Hallyu star went further and added, "Actresses I've worked with told me that I have kissable lips," which once again caused further laughter among the guests. Ryu Si Won also talked about how much he has changed from when he was in his 20s. He explained, "In my 20's, my thoughts and opinions were strong but things are a bit of the opposite now. Before I used to care a lot about my hair and things of that nature but nowadays I don't really care." To further prove his point, he ruffled his hair after he made this statement.
