If you're into rock music, here's a treat for you. It's a rock group that's been around for quite a while, but despite being really talented it seems they've been coated with some stealth as they've been flying under the radar for quite some time now. The group is called GUYZ and consists of members Yayoo (Vocals & Guitar), Hong Jun (Guitar & Chorus), Ki Hyun (Bass & Chorus) and Myeong Jun (Drums). The guys released their 6th single titled New Stage last week on September 2nd and it contains 3 fabulous tracks: New Stage, I.S and Come On, baby (RMX). The group first came into the collective consciousness back in May of 1998 when they performed at a live concert in front of more than 1,100 people in the Hongdae district of Seoul. The group also participated in OST Tracks (soundtrack) for the SBS Drama 101st Proposal and the popular animation BLEACH. In 2009, the group signed a deal with a start up agency in Japan (PRIMROSE Entertainment). Not only do they want to be popular in Korea but they also hope to make the leap to the Japanese market as well (They have that J-Rockish feel). These guys are quite talented and need some love. They're scheduled to perform at LIVE POWER Music on September 11th and then appear on Mnet's M! Rookies on September 15th.
