Despite the multitude of recent girl group comebacks, After School has undoubtedly set themselves apart with their distinctive drum girl concept, as seen in their recent Bang! MV teaser. However, the whole drum thing isn't just for the image - apparently the members have practiced percussion with a trainer for five months! Kahi also revealed that After School began to practice playing the drums before promotions before Because of You, which was released in late November. With nearly half a year's worth of practice, I think we have a lot more to enjoy than a few basic strokes and rolls in the upcoming performances.

"Even though we can only present a short performance onstage, we've practiced so hard that there wasn't a day when we didn't put bandages on our hands. A trainer was invited to instruct us, and we practically lived wearing our drums. It felt like we were returning to our debut days."

Meanwhile, Pledis Entertainment recently revealed that 30,000 copies of After School's third single have already been pre-ordered, exceeding the company's expectations. Because of this, Bang! will be released earlier than scheduled. After School's definitely stepping it up for this comeback - instead of just getting a new look and wardrobe like we kpop fans are accustomed to seeing, these eight girls had to learn a whole new activity that takes a lot of time and practice.
