Canadian talent and Chitchat of Beauties panelist Dominique Noel has tried to stand up for her friend and fellow panelist on the show, Rie Akiba. Rie Akiba was recently attacked by netizens for saying she didn't know which country Dokdo Island should belong to. Dominique felt that the hate comments directed toward Rie Akiba were simply racist. She shared her thoughts in a diary note on her minihompy. She wrote, "Racism is NEVER okay...Never...What goes around comes around." Though she tried to stick up for her friend, it didn't really work. The netizens started to attack Dominique as well. They wrote comments such as, "You think it's racism? I'm so shocked. Dominique, stop acting like you like Korea and thinking about earning money. Go to the country you love, Japan." and "Don't get involved because I know you don't know much about the situation between Korea and Japan." Are the netizens getting too harsh?
