F.cuz has been gaining momentum with their recent debut stages; right after their KBS Music Bank performance on January 15, the boys went immediately to a dance rehearsal to practice a routine for a remixed version of JIGGY. F.cuz is really kicking this performance up a notch with difficult choreography that involves acrobatics. However, the boys' enthusiasm led to some unfortunate happenings when members Kan suffered an injury to his left ankle. During practice, Kan overstretched a ligament in his left ankle when he was turning during tumbling practice. Member LeeU also suffered a minor toe injury. "Kan was sent to the hospital immediately," a CAN&J Entertainment rep revealed during a phone interview with Newsen. "Because his ankle was extremely swollen, he used crutches." Naturally, the best option would be for Kan to rest for now. However, Kan shook off the staff's attempts at persuasion by saying, "I will definitely go on stage. I won't die from this injury. This is an important period since we have only just begun, and I can't give up." Ultimately, Kan took painkillers and returned to Music Core the next day for a dry rehearsal; that afternoon, he visited the hospital again. "Kan has been adamant about his intention to be on stage," the CAN&J rep continued. "He plans to appear for all of his activities on Music Core and Inkigayo this week." F.cuz has scheduled their remixed Jiggy and acrobatic choreography on this week's music shows. It's unclear whether Kan will be appearing with crutches or not, but it looks like he's not taking 'no' for an answer. Despite the undeniable dangers involved with working so much on his ankle despite his injury, Kan's determination is admirable - good luck to him!
