Yoo Seung Ho opened up about guesting on variety shows and not liking his own face.
On the August 6th episode of talk show series 'VIVO TV,' Yoo Seung Ho featured as a guest and spoke with comedian Song Eun Yi, who asked why the actor decided to appear on YouTube despite his reluctance to appear on variety shows. Yoo Seung Ho expressed, "The biggest reason in my mom. With my mom around, what is there to worry about? Maybe it's because I've lived according to a script, but I don't know how to handle variety shows since there's no precise script or directing. I'm normally not a very interesting person."
Yoo Seung Ho then confessed he doesn't like his own face very much. He shared, "I find myself slick looking. No matter if I wash my face or whatever, when I look in the mirror, I think, 'Why do I look so slick?' I wish I looked more honest and bright, but I look too slick." He named actor Jung Woo Sung as an example of someone with an honest and bright face, saying, "He is so gentlemanly and cool."
The actor continued, "I find my own face boring. It's a face that gets old quickly. On the other hand, Jung Woo Sung sunbaenim never gets boring even if you look at him 100 times."
In other news, Yoo Seung Ho is playing an HIV-positive queer character in the play 'Angels in America'.
