SHINee’s TAEMIN has just unveiled the first motion trailer for his highly anticipated 5th mini album ‘ETERNAL,’ set to be released on August 19 at 6 PM (KST).

In the trailer, Taemin captivates viewers with his striking long blonde hair, a detail that has particularly resonated with fans. The video features two contrasting versions of Taemin: one veiled in mostly white attire, exuding an ethereal aura, and the other cloaked in a dark, hooded outfit, creating a stark visual contrast.

The trailer also teases intriguing details, such as imposing gates that lead to two distinctly different rooms—one resembling a torture chamber, and the other evoking the atmosphere of a nuptial chamber. The symbolism and meaning behind these elements are left open to interpretation, inviting fans to delve into the mystery and create their own theories.

Haunting sounds with a beatbox and synths and add Taemin’s breath and this trailer makes for some enticing and captivating moments in just 68 seconds!

Also, add to this trailer the scene of dark-clothed Taemin crushing a pansy flower in the palm of his hand, and you would be forgiven for thinking of how much this trailer is tailor-made for TAEMates (TAEMIN’s fandom).  Or could it mean something else as he rubs the crushed pansy flower on his face!
