If you've ever visited South Korea, you'll know just how many places there are to eat; it's endless! Oftentimes, you'll find yourself debating where and what to eat, but fear not; here are seven of the best "must visit" restaurants to eat at!

1. Jeonju Yuhalmeoni Bibimbap: If there's anyone who is renowned for their culinary prowess, it's always the grandmothers! That's why the term "Grandma's secret recipe" is so ubiquitous. Well, in Jeonju, you can get some of the best bibimbap ever at 유할머니 (Yuhalmeoni or translated as Yu Grandma)! The Jeonju region itself is known for bibimbap so you know you won't be disappointed with the most famous bibimbap place in Jeonju.

2. Woo Lae Oak: A must-go place for the best naengmyeon, this restaurant is always in the top three places to eat these cold buckwheat noodles! Just be aware, if you do decide to eat, you may have to take a number and wait a bit, so get there early!

3. Samcheogdong Sujebi: A Michelin-guide-rated restaurant. If you're looking to warm up this winter, this is the place for you. A hot bowl of steaming soup with thin, chewy pieces of dough is such a comforting dish on a rainy or snowy day!

4. La Yeon: This place is FANCY and unlike the other restaurants on this list, very pricey! One of two Seoul restaurants to earn three Michelin stars, this restaurant not only has top-notch food, but the view is also one of the best. Sitting on top of Shilla Seoul Hotel's rooftop, you get a fantastic aerial view of Seoul!

5. Namdaemun Market: So, this technically isn't a restaurant, but if you want some of the best comfort food in Korea, you have to include the marketplaces! Featuring hundreds of different food vendors, Namdaemun market is one of the most popular places to visit! With various food stalls serving classic dishes such as tteokbokki, hotteok, odeng, and more just make sure you don't get too much of one dish but leave room to try many dishes at once!

6. Noryangjin Cup Rice Road: Convenient rice bowls, cup rice, also known as "cup bop," is a small meal that packs a punch. With various toppings ranging from bulgogi, spicy chicken, and chicken mayo, this dish was made to cater to youth studying for major exams!

7. Mealtop: Try South Korea's traditional dessert, bingsu! Located on the fifth floor of the Hyundai Department Store in Apgujeong, they have a variety of different flavors of bingsu!

Make sure to put these restaurants/marketplaces on your itinerary for your next trip to South Korea! You won't regret it!

I've been to La Yeon, only one on this list lol. The only 3-star Michelin place I've been to. Had amazing Korean beef and abalone rice there.
