According to data from the Korean Film Council’s integrated ticket sales network, the film recorded a cumulative audience of 1,000,589 as of 2:07 PM on April 23, achieving the milestone at remarkable speed.

The feat is especially notable considering the film’s 18+ rating. In contrast, 'The Match,' rated for audiences 12 and older, took 11 days to hit the same mark. YADANG: The Snitch’s performance underscores the growing scale and diversity of Korea’s film market.

The film follows a gripping storyline involving 'Yadang,' a broker orchestrating Korea’s underground drug market; a prosecutor seeking power; and a detective staking everything on dismantling the criminal ring. Their conflicting goals drive the action-packed plot.

Since its release, 'YADANG: The Snitch' has dominated the box office, holding the No.1 spot for seven consecutive days. The performances of Kang Ha Neul, Yoo Hae Jin, Park Hae Joon, Ryu Kyung Soo, and Chae Won Bin have been praised for their intensity and depth, drawing audiences into a narrative rich with thrills, social commentary, and realism.
