NEXZ, the rising boy group from JYP Entertainment, is officially making their first comeback of 2025 with their second mini album ‘O-RLY?’. On April 8th KST, JYP unveiled the tracklist and online cover art via official social media channels, instantly amplifying fan anticipation.
The album features five tracks, including the title song ‘O-RLY?’, as well as "Simmer", "Want More? One More!", "Run With Me", and "Slo-mo". A hidden CD-only track titled ‘Z Side_250226’ is also included in the physical version, offering fans a collectible bonus.
As cheeky and confident as its name—an abbreviation of the expression “Oh, really?”—the title track is crafted to turn heads. An all-star production team participated in the making of ‘O-RLY?’, including Ronny Svendsen, Adrian Thessen, Maxx Song, Chans, and Lee Ijin, all of whom have worked on major K-pop hits.
Notably, ‘Run With Me’ adds a special touch with lyrics penned solely by HAN of Stray Kids, further strengthening the JYP family connection. Other globally renowned producers such as WUTAN, Andy Love, and Mike Daley have also contributed to shaping NEXZ’s latest sound.
The online cover image features a vibrant, kitschy design set against a dreamy background, while the teaser video ‘NEXZ “O-RLY?” : Candy Spike!’ introduces the group’s signature character. In one scene, a mysterious green lollipop shatters, leaving fans speculating about its symbolic meaning.
Described as a bold, high-energy project, ‘O-RLY?’ captures the free-spirited, cool essence of Gen Z and is expected to firmly establish NEXZ as a new wave leader in K-pop. The album officially drops on April 28th at 6 PM KST, with physical pre-orders now available as of April 7th.
