
Singer Lim Chang Jung is set to return with a solo concert tour, celebrating his 30-year journey in the music industry.
Titled ‘Rustic Concert’, the tour will kick off in May 2025, marking his first solo concert in approximately two years and six months since his 2022 nationwide tour. The concerts will be held on:
• May 3rd – EXCO Auditorium, Daegu
• May 24th – Dream Theatre, Busan
• May 31st – Yonsei University Grand Auditorium, Seoul
Accompanying the announcement, a teaser poster features Lim Chang Jung on stage, holding a microphone with an intense, contemplative gaze—reflecting his confidence as a “live performance powerhouse.”
The concert’s setlist promises a rich musical journey, featuring songs from his latest 18th full-length album, ‘Rustic Ballad’, including "Daily Daily" and "Even If It’s Sad, It Was Love". Fans can also expect a lineup of his most beloved classics across various genres, from heart-wrenching ballads to upbeat dance tracks. Known for his genuine storytelling and humor, Lim plans to deliver a show that resonates across generations, offering both laughter and deep emotions.
With an impressive career filled with countless hit songs and a unique blend of emotional ballads and energetic performances, Lim Chang Jung has solidified his place as a concert icon. His “rustic yet heartfelt” storytelling will bring a nostalgic yet fresh musical experience to audiences.
Meanwhile, Lim Chang Jung was embroiled in allegations related to the SG Securities stock manipulation scandal in April 2023. While he denied any involvement in stock manipulation or investment solicitation, he was investigated as a suspect. However, the prosecution ultimately found no grounds for indictment, and he was cleared of all charges.
