Actress Han So Hee showcased her raw and candid charm in a recent feature.

On March 18, Harper’s Bazaar Korea unveiled its April 2025 cover, featuring Han So Hee as the modern-day “21st-century goddess.” The cover exudes a classic, Renaissance-inspired atmosphere, with the actress elegantly dressed in black and neutral-toned ensembles from Dior’s 2025 S/S collection.

In the accompanying interview, Han So Hee shared personal insights and reflected on her current state of mind.
When asked about her perspective on beauty, she responded, "Doesn’t it change every year? Lately, I’ve come to realize that beauty isn’t just about appearances." She continued, "They say, ‘A beautiful heart matters most,’ but for me, it’s also about my mindset. These days, I’m more focused on my physical well-being."
She explained, "Instead of thinking, ‘I’m exhausted, I can’t do anything,’ I tell myself, ‘I can’t do anything, so I’ll just take some vitamins and sleep.’ If I lack energy on set, it affects those around me. Not letting my struggles impact others is part of my personal definition of beauty."
Regarding her upcoming movie ‘Project Y,’ Han So Hee shared, "When I chose this film, I felt like it was an opportunity I wouldn’t get again at this age. It’s a project where I could channel both my youthful passion and a newfound maturity."
She also emphasized her excitement about working alongside Jeon Jong Seo, adding, "We became really close friends, and I was eager to showcase our chemistry on screen. I strongly believe that we complement each other perfectly, and I’m determined to prove it through this film."
When asked if there was a particular topic she wished to address about herself, Han So Hee reflected on her reputation for honesty, stating, "No matter how much I think about it, I feel I must take responsibility for the consequences of being honest." She elaborated, "I’m trying to learn how to be responsibly honest, especially since I have fans, friends, and people who listen to me."
Her words seemed to hint at the public scrutiny she faced last year regarding her relationship with Ryu Jun Yeol and the ensuing controversy with Hyeri.
On March 15 of last year, Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol were spotted on a date in Hawaii, sparking rumors of a "transfer relationship"—a term used when someone starts dating a new partner shortly after ending a previous relationship. The next day, the two confirmed their relationship, leading to further speculation.
Amid the controversy, Hyeri, Ryu Jun Yeol’s ex-girlfriend and former Girl’s Day member, posted the phrase "It’s fun." on her social media, fueling speculation that it was a pointed remark about the situation. Han So Hee responded with her own post, stating, "I find it fun too," which led to accusations that she was taking a jab at Hyeri. The exchange triggered widespread rumors and public criticism.
Both Han So Hee and Hyeri later apologized, putting an end to the online feud. However, just two weeks after confirming their relationship, Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol announced their breakup, bringing the chapter to a close.
