Singer and musical actor Changsub is set to reimagine BUZZ’s legendary track “Coward” with a fresh take.
On March 12th at 6 PM (KST), Changsub’s remake digital single “Coward” will be released on various online music platforms.
Originally released in March 2005, “Coward” was the title track of BUZZ’s second full-length album, 'Buzz Effect'. The song dominated music chart programs, setting the record for the longest time at No. 1, and ranked second on Melon’s 2005 Year-End Top 10 Chart. Even after two decades, the song remains an unforgettable classic in Korean music history.
Changsub’s version of “Coward” aims to revive the nostalgia of the original while delivering a refreshing new interpretation with his distinct vocals.
Known for his versatility, Changsub has expanded his musical repertoire through BTOB’s group activities, solo releases, and musical theater performances. His signature ability to seamlessly blend into various genres—whether ballad, rock, or pop—has consistently captivated listeners.
For his remake, “Coward” moves away from the original’s piano and orchestral arrangements, instead embracing acoustic guitar and band instrumentation. While maintaining the song’s emotional rock-ballad essence, Changsub’s heartfelt and powerful vocal delivery promises to offer a bold yet sentimental reinterpretation of this beloved hit.
