
As of March 8, actor Lee Dong Gun has embarked on a fresh start, finding a new agency to support his career.
Lee recently signed an exclusive contract with the newly established entertainment agency, W+. On March 7, W+ announced, "We are delighted to partner with Lee Dong Gun, who has been loved by the public for his broad acting skills and charm over the years. We will provide full support to help him expand his spectrum as an actor. Please look forward to his upcoming activities."
Debuting in 1998, Lee Dong Gun has built an impressive filmography with popular dramas such as 'Lovers in Paris,' 'Smile Again,' and 'The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop,' along with films like 'My Boyfriend Is Type B' and 'Love Now.' In January, he appeared in Useless Love, directed by Lee Jung Seob, and has been actively engaging with fans through his participation in SBS’s variety show 'My Little Old Boy.'
Meanwhile, W+ is a newly established entertainment agency that was launched in January.
Lee Dong Gun was previously married to actress Jo Yoon Hee in 2017, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Roa, the same year. However, they divorced in 2020, with Jo Yoon Hee receiving custody of their child.
