Seventeen and Stray Kids continue to prove their global popularity as they secured positions on IFPI's Top 10 Global Artists of 2024. 

On February 18, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) released its annual ranking based on worldwide streaming, digital, and physical music consumption. K-pop artists continued strong in 2024, with various artists ranking on IFPI charts, including the Global Album Chart and the Global Album Sale Chart.

Notably, Seventeen ranked 3rd place (down from 2nd place in 2023), and Stray Kids ranked 5th place (down from 3rd place in 2023). ENHYPEN made a new entry on the chart at rank 14. BTS topped the IFPI Global Artist Chart in 2020 and 2021.

Not only that, ENHYPEN's 'Romance: Untold' ranked in at number 4 on IFPI's Global Album Chart 2024, while Seventeen's 'Spill the Feels' and '17 is Right Here' came in at rank 6 and 8, respectively. Stray Kids entered the top 10 rankings on the Global Album Chart 2024, with 'ATE' in rank 10.

Lastly, this year's IFPI Global Album Sales Chart was filled with K-pop artists topping physical album sales.

At number 2, ENHYPEN's 'Romance: Untold' was the second most-sold physical album, following Taylor Swift's 'The Tortured Poets Department.' Following ENHYPEN's album, Seventeen's 'Spill The Feels' and '17 is Right Here' came in at number 3 and 4. Stray Kids' 'ATE' and 'HOP' ranked 5 and 6, respectively. IVE's 'Switch' came in at rank 7, followed by NCT Dream's 'DREAM ( ) SCAPE' at rank 8, aespa's 'ARMAGEDDON' at rank 9, and TXT's 'Minisode 3: Tomorrow' at rank 10.

Other K-pop artists who made the charts include ATEEZ, Baekhyun, TWICE, and ZEROBASEONE.
