Seo Hyun Jin to star as an obstetrician in new drama ‘Love Me’.
Actress Seo Hyun Jin has been confirmed to star in the upcoming drama ‘Love Me,’ where she will take on the role of obstetrician Seo Jun Kyung.
On February 5th KST, the production team of ‘Love Me’ announced, “Seo Hyun Jin will play Seo Jun Kyung, an obstetrician-gynecologist, in the new drama.”
‘Love Me’ tells the story of a seemingly ordinary yet deeply personal and sometimes selfish family, as they each embark on their own journeys of love and self-growth.
The series brings together director Jo Young Min, known for his emotionally resonant works such as ‘Do You Like Brahms?’ and ‘The Interest of Love,’ and writers Park Eun Young and Park Hee Kwon, who previously delivered relatable, heartfelt storytelling in dramas like ‘The Third Charm’ and ‘I Have Not Done My Best Yet.’
Seo Hyun Jin’s casting adds further anticipation to the drama. Known for her exceptional depth in acting, she takes on the role of Seo Jun Kyung, a seemingly perfect “wannabe single” with a prestigious career and stunning appearance. However, beneath this façade, she is a profoundly lonely individual, haunted by a tragic accident from seven years ago that shattered her family. Running away from the painful past, she fights fiercely to maintain her confident and independent image. Yet, she eventually meets someone who sees through her loneliness and encourages her to acknowledge it openly.
In ‘Love Me,’ Seo Hyun Jin will portray the raw contradictions of a woman who appears strong and unshakable but harbors deep emotional wounds. Fans are eager to see her deliver another heartfelt, realistic romance.
