KickFlip's Amaru talked about his close relationship with his JYP Entertainment sunbae artist, TWICE's Mina!
On February 7 KST, KickFlip members Kyehoon and Amaru greeted fans during a YouTube Live broadcast. During the live, Amaru talked about filming the "Mama Said" challenge with Mina.
Amaru revealed, "My parents are good friends with Mina noona's parents. So I've known her for a long time, and she's supported me for a long time."
He added on, "Well Mina noona said that she would normally never do a boy group dance challenge. But I was like, 'I'm finally debuting. Don't you think you should show up for your bro?' So then she was finally like, 'Fine, I'll learn it at home'. That ended up being Mina noona's first boy group dance challenge on TikTok."
Hearing this, Kyehoon remarked, "I was so surprised when I saw that Amaru had an individual schedule. That was when we hadn't even debuted yet, but he had to go to the shop to get his makeup done because of a schedule. I was like, 'What's going on?'."
Finally, Amaru gave Mina a cute, brotherly shoutout with a simple thumbs-up, adding, "Noona, I'm pretty sure you're not watching but... (laughter) And you kept saying that you weren't gonna do it but... (laughter)."
