JYP Entertainment has recently identified an ongoing issue involving a specific individual who has been persistently sending letters containing inappropriate content and images based on delusional beliefs. This individual has also been repeatedly seen loitering around the workplaces and residential areas of TWICE members. Such actions have caused severe psychological distress and anxiety not only to the affected artists but also to those around them.
In response, JYP Entertainment has implemented enhanced security measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our artists. We continue to closely monitor the situation and are committed to taking decisive action against any further threats.
Under the "Act on Punishment of Stalking Crimes," acts such as persistently approaching someone near their residence or workplace against their will, as well as sending letters, images, or objects via mail or telephone, are classified as "stalking behavior." The repeated sending of distressing letters and unauthorized presence near the artist’s living space constitute clear violations of this law, which may lead to severe legal consequences.
JYP Entertainment strongly reiterates that such actions are explicitly against the wishes of our artists. Should the individual in question fail to cease these stalking behaviors immediately, we will pursue all possible legal measures without leniency or settlement, ensuring the strictest possible response.
JYP Entertainment remains dedicated to prioritizing the protection and security of TWICE at all times.

"Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.
Recently, a specific individual has been indiscriminately sending letters that contain inappropriate content and photos stemming from delusions, while also lingering around the workplace and residential areas of TWICE members. This has caused significant psychological distress and anxiety not only for the artist in question but also for those around them. In response, we have taken measures to strengthen security to ensure the safety of our artists and are closely monitoring the situation.
According to the Act on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes, actions such as loitering or monitoring an individual in their daily living spaces against their will, or repeatedly sending letters, images, or other materials via mail or phone, all constitute stalking behavior. Therefore, the repeated delivery of distressing and inappropriate letters against the artist’s wishes, as well as the individual’s continued presence in the artist’s living environment, is a clear case of stalking and is subject to strict legal punishment under the law.
We firmly reiterate that such actions are in direct violation of the artist’s will.
If this individual does not immediately cease their stalking behavior, we will take all possible legal actions at the highest level without any leniency or settlement. We sincerely thank all fans who continue to support and care for TWICE. JYP Entertainment remains committed to doing our utmost to protect our artists."
