BTS' J-Hope has donated 200 million won (approximately $138,633 USD) to Seoul Asan Medical Center to support the development of children's hospitals. The donation was made on his birthday, February 18, and J-Hope expressed his commitment to continuing his support in the future.
J-Hope stated, "I hope this can bring even a small amount of help to children who are suffering at this moment. I sincerely wish for children to dream of a healthy and hopeful future. I also wanted to give back to ARMY, who always shower me with love. I take this opportunity to express my gratitude once again, and I find it truly meaningful to continue donating every year, starting from my birthday this year."
This donation continues J-Hope’s philanthropic efforts, following his 100 million won donation to Seoul Asan Medical Center in 2022.
Seoul Asan Medical Center plans to use J-Hope’s donation to enhance treatment facilities and medical environments for pediatric and adolescent patients, as well as to support research on severe and rare pediatric diseases.
