On February 19, YG Entertainment dropped an announcement for 'BLACKPINK's 2025 world tour.' On this day, the label dropped a promo video along with the schedule chart for the upcoming world tour.

The tour kicks off in Goyang, South Korea, at Goyang Stadium on July 5-6, 2025, marking their grand return to the stage. From there, BLACKPINK will make their way across North America, starting with a performance at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on July 12, followed by stops at Soldier Field in Chicago (July 18), Rogers Stadium in Toronto (July 22), and Citi Field in New York (July 26).
Following the latest announcement, since the world tour begins in July, fans are speculating that the group will release an album and make a comeback ahead of their world tour. Fans commented:
