The police revealed they are preparing to summon WINNER's Song Min Ho for questioning.

During a press conference held at the National Police Agency in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, on January 6, a police representative confirmed, "He has not yet been questioned." Authorities are currently focused on analyzing evidence necessary to verify the allegations, including reviewing CCTV footage from the community welfare facility where he was stationed.

Song Min Ho became embroiled in allegations of negligent service as a social service agent on December 17, 2024. Colleagues and acquaintances who worked with him reportedly submitted complaints to Dispatch regarding his attendance and conduct.

Although Song Min Ho took medical leave citing social anxiety and panic disorder, he was allegedly spotted several times in public. Reports claim that he participated in parties and camping trips in places such as Goseong and Yangyang in Gangwon Province.

Following the controversy, the Military Manpower Administration belatedly intervened and referred the case to the police instead of conducting an internal investigation. Song Min Ho is currently under investigation as a suspect for potential violations of the Military Service Act.

Song Min Ho began his alternative service as a social service agent in March 2023 and was discharged from duty on December 23, 2024.
