Singer-songwriter Lee Jin Ah revealed that she was pregnant.
On January 6, Lee Jin Ah began her message by greeting fans, saying, "I hope you’re all doing well. I’m writing because I have some exciting news to share!"
She continued, "These days, I’ve been experiencing a new and mysterious journey every day. A baby angel has come into my life, and I wanted to let you all know." Lee Jin Ah also wished fans a happy new year, adding, "Wishing you all lots of blessings in the new year."
Lee Jin Ah married pianist Shin Sung Jin in March 2019. At the time, fellow artists Sam Kim and Kwon Jin Ah performed congratulatory songs at the wedding, and many Antenna Music artists, including Yoo Hee Yeol, Lucid Fall, Jung Jae Hyung, and Peppertones, attended to celebrate the occasion.
Reflecting on her married life, Lee Jin Ah previously shared, "It’s been three years since I got married. I wonder if having that chapter in my life has made me more mature." During an appearance on a radio show, host Choi Hwa Jung expressed surprise, asking, "Did you have a small, private wedding? I think I read about it in an article."
When asked about married life, Lee Jin Ah replied, "It’s pretty much the same. Since he’s also a musician, we both have similar but slightly different routines. We sometimes argue, but we’re still having fun together."
Meanwhile, Lee Jin Ah first made herself known when she appeared on the 4th season of 'K-Pop Star.' she then signed with Antenna after finishing third place in the audition program. Since then, she garnered much attention for her take on music, mixing Jazz with pop and R&B, accompanied by her soft unique vocals.
