Big Bang’s G-Dragon is making his long-awaited return with a full solo album in February, followed by a concert in March. This marks 13 years since his last solo full album, 'Coup d'état,' which was released in 2012.

According to Ten Asia on the 6th, G-Dragon is preparing for his comeback with a new full-length album set to drop in February. Additionally, he is planning a concert for the end of March, though the specific schedule and venues are still under discussion.

This album will include two pre-released tracks: 'POWER,' which came out on October 31st, and 'HOME SWEET HOME,' featuring Big Bang members Taeyang and Daesung, released on November 22nd.

G-Dragon’s 'POWER' created a major impact, topping iTunes charts in 16 countries and setting a 2024 record on Melon with over 83,000 listeners in its first hour. 'HOME SWEET HOME,' a group track featuring all members of Big Bang, also dominated music charts across Korea and Asia, including China, further proving G-Dragon’s title as the "returning king."

Expectations are high for the title track of G-Dragon’s new album, which will follow the success of 'POWER' and 'HOME SWEET HOME.'

Regarding the album, a representative from Galaxy Corporation stated cautiously to Ten Asia, “It is true that plans are being made, but nothing has been confirmed yet.” This is reminiscent of G-Dragon’s October comeback, which was exclusively reported by the magazine in September. At the time, his team had stated, “The comeback date is undetermined and the schedule has not been confirmed.” Despite this, 'POWER' was eventually released on October 31st.

G-Dragon’s last full-length solo album, 'Coup d'état,' featured 12 tracks, including iconic hits such as 'Black' (featuring Jennie of Blackpink), 'Who You?', 'Crooked,' and 'Niliria.' The album was widely praised, cementing G-Dragon’s reputation as a global music icon. Fans are now eagerly awaiting his first solo full-length album in over a decade, ready to witness his next chapter.
