Among the companies that have sent their trainees to Mnet's upcoming boy group survival show 'BOYS 2 PLANET', some of the industry's big names have been spotted.
A netizen compiled a list of 24 companies rumored to have sent trainees to 'BOYS 2 PLANET'. Among them are a few major agencies that have not participated in such shows before, such as YG Entertainment and KQ Entertainment. While YG Entertainment has previously been involved in survival shows, it was mostly through its modeling subsidiary, YG K Plus. So, seeing YG Entertainment itself sending trainees to the show has shocked netizens:
"YG?"
"YG will be there?"
"Did Jellyfish just pick new trainees again? They're sending them out again. WAKEONE is sending out their own trainee again. Even MMH is sending out trainees. It's been a while since Starship sent trainees out... Cube debuted a new group recently but still has trainees. Wow, IST has trainees too. But... YG is here too?"
Meanwhile, Woollim Entertainment is also sending out trainees despite the recent disbandment of two groups under the agency. Netizens have commented on this as well: "Woollim, please take good care of your own artists. I'm serious."
Here’s a list of the agencies that have been named in this compilation, in no particular order:
